PROJECT 3: PORTFOLIO WEBSITE
Creative Brief
Create a clean and logical portfolio website of 10-15 of your best works over the past year. You must submit 2 or 3 illustration projects but no more. In rare instances you may choose to include work from Foundations, but you must check with your instructor before doing so. Your portfolio website will be used for the Sophomore Portfolio Review and consideration for entering the program. You will submit your physical illustrations in addition to the website, and you will also upload this information to Dropbox as a fail safe.
• Work with all of your instructors to determine which projects are your best (grades are instructive but on occasion aren't representative of design quality due to missed deadlines, missing files, or technical mistakes)
• Revise any projects that you plan to include that were not your best work based on feedback or comments in rubrics
• Scan all illustrations at 600dpi (or higher if you intend to zoom in on details). Downsample them for use on your portfolio site
• Thumbnail/plan your navigation structure. You should group projects in some way (by course or by media or some other logical fashion...).
• Scale images to sizes appropriate for web-based media
• Create a single page for each project and upload as many images as is appropriate to show the project. This is equivalent to a digital ADDY board. More is not always better. You may use captions but keep the site relatively clean.
• You should show process work from two of the more process intensive projects, but you do not need to (should not) show process imagery for every project.
• Post work through behance for the website project (integration feature). This way your work can also be  shared to UCODesign.com
