Project 2: Dust Jacket
Assignment
Using InDesign you will choose a book and create a dust jacket.
To Do
1. Choose a book that you have already read. Begin sketching possible images & conceptual approaches for the book cover.
2. Research book covers to give yourself a reference as to what information is necessary for a cover & how they work together.
3. Images used for this project must be digital photos that YOU have taken, or stock photography images that you can prove you have permission to use. You may NOT use images taken from the web.
4. Must design + include a custom vector letter mark / publisher logo.
5. Seek the approval of your instructor before you take your strongest concept to the computer. Then create your design using the techniques demonstrated in class.
